Post Institute Affiliate WordPress Plugin
Here you will find how to install, configure and use the Post Institute Affiliate WordPress plugin.
Our new Post Institute Affiliate WordPress Plugin lets you easily display products from the Post Institute product catalog that will generate commissions for you upon a successful sale.
Products can be displayed within pages or post using a simple WordPress shortcode. You only need to enter the shortcode [es_pia_display_widget prd_cds="XXXXXX,XXXXX,XXXXX"] on the page or post and the plugin does the rest of the work. The XXXXXX,XXXXX,XXXXX are replaced by a comma separated list of the product you want to display on the page.
Let’s use the PIA popular product, Parenting Attachment Challenged Children ‘Hands-on’ Home Study Course, as an example. To display the product details along with links that will generate commissions for you, simply enter the following into your page or post -
[es_pia_display_widget prd_cds="pacc"]
You want to display a couple of the Post Institute’s products, just separate each of the product codes with a comma -
[es_pia_display_widget prd_cds="aca-dvd,gbb-workbook,pacc"]
Plugin Installation
Login to your WordPress dashboard.
Click on the Add New link under Plugins.
Click on the Upload link once on the Plugins page.
Upload the zip file you received after your downloaded our plugin.
Expand the the Settings section and click on the Post Institute Affiliate Settings link.
You will be presented with the screen below where you will enter the plugin configuration elements:
You will receive your affiliate id in your welcome email once you register for the Post Institute Affiliate program.
How do I display Post Institute products within my pages or posts?
Create or edit a new page or post and then enter the following shortcode into the page -
[es_pia_display_widget prd_cds="pacc"]
This code will insert the details of the Parenting Attachment Challenged Children product within your page or post.
How do I display Post Institute in the sidebar?
Click on the Widgets link under the Appearance menu.
Drag the Post Institute Affiliate Widget to the sidebar.
Insert a title for the widget and enter the product codes you want to appear in the sidebar product slider.
Where do I find the Post Institute product codes?
Login in to the Post Institute Affiliate Center.
Once you have successfully logged into the page, click on the Link Generator link.
A list of the products and links will appear on the page.
